Steam keeps validating my game files
And, neither Steam nor Bethesda are working on fixing them. Other members have stated that many Steam games have this issue (though other than NV I've never experienced it).Honestly, I don't bother validating the archive anymore.Crash, dc now i cant even go past the loading screen, i want to punch those who make this game so freaking bad right now. Hey, steam users should probably find those files in this folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common If steam doesn't install them in that folder, try searching for one of the file names i mentioned prior (such as "items Cache Hash") into your windows search box. S Guys don't forget to delete those crazy large dump files taking up useless space.CCleaner doesn't seem to clean them, so you would have to do it manually. Please include all previous replies when/if responding to this message.
I say that because the moment that Fallout New Vegas was installed I went to Steam and clicked on It boggles the mind: especially, because no one has an answer!?!
I had already tried disable network adapters, turn off my firewall, Uplay reinstall, open port, open dmz, open UPn P and nothing working for me.
Please ubisoft fix the problem, probable having other people with the same problem. I would appreciate if Ubisoft would give me and my buddy Munchkin a thank you for finding another workaround which will 100% work, but they should of course see what the actual issue is as it still creates super large dumps. They are located in these locations: C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege\download\Shop Items C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege\download\addons\prod\pc_live01 The files causing the problem are: datapc64_cm_hp_ec_1_addon_1968688455054a13_1 items Cache items Cache Hash It may be the datapc64...
The game crashes every time i start it at the "validating and updating playlist and properties" phase.
I had a disconnect due to power loss and now this keeps happening. Also i noticed the dumps in the temp folder are rather super large at 6GB a pop.In no way is this good for the hard drive, and worse yet i can't even play now...Now, I am wondering if it could have anything to do with my graphic settings?
